SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING (o AUGUST 14, 1980 A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date in the Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 650 North La Cadena Q Drive, Colton, California, at 6:00 p. m., Mayor Gonzales presiding. Q Notice of Special Meeting was given on August 12, 1980, in compliance with Government Code Section 54956. Mayor Gonzales led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. 21 Council Members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor Gonzales. Also present were Acting City Manager Elliott, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The City Council adjourned to Executive Session at 6:03 p. m., to discuss matters of Litigation, and reconvened at 7:15 p. m., all Members present. Mayor Gonzales stated the City Council has considered an outline for a proposed settlement of the litigation with the City of Grand Terrace and San Bernardino County. Mayor Gonzales continued the City Council has concluded that the proposal is reasonable, has approved it and has authorized its being reduced to writing. Mayor Gonzales concluded it is expected that the written document will be ready before the end of this month.
