City Manager Trevino reported that two bids were received for the reroofing of <br />49`9� <br />the Colton Public Library. Mr. Trevino said the bidders were Bell Roof Co. and <br />Morrison -Hope, Inc. with Morrison -Hope, Inc. being the low bidder. <br />Discussion followed on the affect of a previously cut Purchase Order. City At- <br />torney Edwards ruled that since payment had not yet been made, the Purchase Order <br />was not binding and would not affect award of this bid to the low bidder. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to award the bid for re- <br />roofing of the Library to Morrison -Hope, Inc. in the amount of $6,550.00. Unanimous <br />vote. <br />BOARDS & COMMISSIONS: <br />Utilities <br />Mayor Gonzales reported that Mr. Gerald Dejong has indicated he would be interested <br />in reappointment to the Cemetery Commission, and he would so recommend. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to ratify reappointment <br />of Mr. Gerald DeJong to the Cemetery Commission. Unanimous vote. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: <br />Personnel Litigation <br />co <br />The City Council adjourned to Executive Session at 5:10 p. m., to confer with the <br />City Attorney on matters of Personnel Litigation. <br />*Councilman Hayes left the Council Meeting at 5:30 p. m. <br />Q <br />The City Council reconvened at 6:04 p. m. <br />PERSONNEL: <br />Planning <br />City Attorney Edwards reported that City Manager Trevino had recommended appoint- <br />ment of Mr. Jaime Aguilera as Director of Planning and Special Services. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to ratify the ap- <br />pointment of Mr. Jaime Aguilera as Director of Planning and Special Services. <br />City Manager Trevino reported that the City Council had discussed amending the Pay <br />and Classification Plan of the City of Colton by addition of Community Development <br />Coordinator Classification and recommended setting this for public hearing. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to set the position of <br />Community Development Coordinator for hearing on January 6, 1981.
