73 RESOLUTION NO. 4617 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF •COLTON AMENDING THE 1984-85 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET. City Manager Elliott said Staff recommends acceptance of Grant Deed for road easement, as part of the upgrading of Hunts Lane, between Redlands Boulevard and the Southern Pacific Railroad, and authorize recording of the Deed. Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, approving and accepting Grant Deed for road purposes and authorizing recording. Unanimous vote. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Legislation Res. No. 4616 City Attorney Edwards presented Resolution No. 4616 for Council's con- sideration and approval, advising this resolution supports the passage of Assembly Bill 1868, which will provide a Board Member of the South 0 Coast Air.Quality Management District with a permanent seat on the (0 State Air Resources Board. LO 0 Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve Resolution No. 4616. Unanimous vote. Q RESOLUTION NO. 4616 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON SUPPORTING THE PASSAGE OF ASSEMBLY BILL 1868. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: Mr. Dubby Granott, representing the'Casden Company, spoke to the Council Members regarding their development in the Cooley Ranch area, advising their project was nearly completed and they were in the process of applying for the necessary building permits when the Council passed Resolution No. 4609, withholding any permits pending a study on school impaction. Mr. Granott said he felt their develop- ment should be exempt from this Resolution because the project was actually completed before the Council took this action, and therefore they do not fall into the same catagory as others. City Attorney Edwards stated this is a serious problem, however, he felt the Council could not act on this tonight. Mr. Edwards said the study will be completed and presented at the Council Meeting scheduled for July 2, 1985, and possibly this could be discussed at that time. ADJOURNMENT: Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios and unani- mously passed, Mayor Huntoon adjourned the meeting at 9:10 p. m., to meet for an Adjourned Regular Meeting on Wednesday, June 19, 1985, at 5:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall. rLda% Qii- HELEN A.
