Unanimous vote. <br />v o ,- C2 ^ " ,a 1 <br />City Manager Benest requested a public hearing be set for Tuesday, <br />August 5, 1986, to amend the Pay & Classification Plan to include <br />the position of Assistant City Manager for Administrative Services. <br />Mr. Benest stated it is planned that this position would be over <br />the Finance Department and the Personnel Division. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to set <br />for Public Hearing, Tuesday, August 5, 1986, amendment to the Pay <br />and Classification Plan to include the position of Assistant City <br />O Manager for Administrative Services. Unanimous vote. <br />City Manager Benest stated he would like to appoint Coleen McCloud as <br />Lo Acting Director of Personnel, inasmuch as Mrs. McCloud is performing <br />Q those duties since the retirement of Peggy Madsen. <br />co Councilman Rios asked how long the Acting appointment would be in ef- <br />f e c t . <br />Mr. Benest stated until someone is hired to fill the position of <br />Assistant City Manager for Administrative Services. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to ap- <br />prove appointment of Coleen McCloud as Acting Director of Personnel. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />There being no further business to come before the City Council at <br />this time, on motion of Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman <br />Rios, Mayor Huntoon adjourned the meeting at 5:40 p. m. <br />HELEN A.
