On Council consensus, the sites chosen for relocation of the Nutritional <br />Program for the senior citizens were at the Housing Authority, across <br />from the Luque Center, and the First Baptist Church, adjacent to Flem- <br />ing Park. <br />City Manager Young stated that Staff would bring back, at the next <br />Council Meeting, the Change Orders for the work discussed this even- <br />ing. <br />Bids <br />Kenneth Peterson, General Services Manager, reported on the proposed <br />award of bid to Communications Resources Company, to provide communi- <br />cation consulting for telephone service. <br />Mr. Peterson advised the exising telephone system, Pacific Bell Dimen- <br />sion 400, was installed in 1983, and generally has a five-year life <br />span, and it now needs replacing or updating. <br />Mr. Peterson continued with the completion of the buildings at the <br />new Corporate Yards, a telephone system is needed and the City is <br />now faced with expanding its existing system, or installing another <br />system. Mr. Peterson stated he felt the consulting services of Com- <br />munications Resources Company was needed to advise the City as to the <br />best way to go and also to look at what is on the market today. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />There being no further business to come before the Council at this <br />time, Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 7:25 p. m. <br />Qf <br />HELEN A.
