i9 <br />( Community Development <br />Approval of Resolution Amending and Adopting Local <br />Guidelines for Implementing the California <br />Environmental Quality Act and Repealing Resolution <br />No. R-57-91, RESOLUTION NO. R-06-92. <br />Moved by Council Member Cisneros, seconded by Council Member <br />Rehrer, to approve the Consent Calendar, with deletion of Item No. <br />6. Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS; <br />Presentation: <br />A Certificate of Appreciation is presented to City Treasurer <br />Michael J. Williams for his recommendation which saved 7.7 million <br />dollars for the City of Colton. <br />Resolution and Presentation: <br />The City Council of the City of Colton, along with visiting digni- <br />taries, family and friends, presented various tributes to Mrs. Ruth <br />Harris upon her retirement after 38 years of service on Boards of <br />Education for Colton, Grand Terrace and Bloomington, 24 years on <br />the San Bernardino County Board of Education and 18 years on the <br />Regional Occupational Board. <br />At 8:03 p. m., the Mayor declares a recess for Mrs. Harris' <br />reception. <br />At 8:40 p. m., the Mayor declares the meeting reconvened, all <br />members present. <br />Presentation: <br />City Manager Lewis introduced Don Capelle, Project Manager, who <br />gave a brief report on study, reports and analysis relating to the <br />widening of Interstate 215 from the Route 60/125 interchange in <br />Moreno Valley, Riverside to Orange Show Road in San Bernardino, and <br />specifically as to Washington/I-215. <br />CORRESPONDENCE: <br />Councilmanic District Map: <br />Mr. Garland "Rocky" Frederickson, President and Chairman of CTGO, <br />2851 So.
