PEDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND CITY COUNCIL <br />ADJ-ORNED JOINT REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />December 7, 1993 <br />In accordance with no}Lce duly and legally given, an <br />Joint Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment Agency for <br />Colton and the City Council of the City of Colton was <br />above given date at 8:47 p.m. in the Council Chambers <br />Hall, 650 North La Cadena Drive, Chairperson Cisneros <br />Gonzales presiding. <br />RDA ROLL CALL• <br />Adjourned <br />the City of <br />held on the <br />of City <br />and Mayor <br />Members present were Rios, Bennett, Sandoval, Gonzales, Cook, <br />Beltran and Chairperson Cisneros. Also present were Executive <br />Director Young, General Counsel Biggs, Special Counsel Sabo, <br />Economic Development Director Gabriel and Assistant Secretary <br />Ramos. <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Rios, Bennett, Sandoval, Cisneros, <br />Cook, Beltran and Mayor Gonzales. Also present were City Manager <br />Young, City Attorney Biggs, Economic Development Director Gabriel <br />and City Clerk Ramos. <br />JOINT MEETING OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />JOINT PUBLIC HEARING: <br />Cooley Ranch Protect: <br />Consideration of Disposition and Development Agreement for <br />Colton/ Cooley Economic Development Corporation <br />Economic Development Director Gabriel reported pursuant to past <br />discussions with the Agency Board pertaining to the development <br />of the 70 acre site presently under condemnation by the Agency, <br />generally located at the southwest corner of the I-10 and I-215 <br />freeways, and under direction of the Board, the Summary Report <br />and Disposition and Development Agreement with Colton/Cooley <br />Economic Development Corporation is submitted for consideration. <br />The Colton/Cooley Economic Development Corporation is a non- <br />profit corporation, organized and existing pursuant to the <br />California non-profit corporation law. Necessary filings are <br />underway with both the State and Internal Revenue Service to <br />obtain the tax exemptions prior to the non-profit organization <br />actually acquiring cash or other assets. A community based Board <br />of Directors will be designated by the incorporators. <br />
