STAFF REPORTS: ELECTRIC UTILITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Report on Recent Power Outages. (Verbal Report) General Manager Olko provided a brief report on the October 26, 2007 Power Outage, areas affected were to the City of Riverside as this was an Edison Plant; also affects due to the chain of events on the Agua Mansa Power Plant; picture presentation; Explain the (2) additional outages in the last several weeks; unknown the cause and will be taken to a consultant to determine if this is due to old equipment; discovered another fault and reported on additional outages due to repairs. Discussion continued with CM Mitchell expressing how he was affected with the outages and the effectiveness of the customer service line during the outages. Mayor Chastain suggested the use of reverse 911 in the future for such outages. CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: DSF Update. (Verbal Report) — PowerPoint presentation; Assistant City Manager Nuaimi provided a PowerPoint presentation to update the council on the Dehi Sands Fly information. Discussion continued with council expressing concerns regarding businesses involved in the Super Block, possible relocation assistance, recovery plans, potential interested developers, next phase and current work in progress.
