Public Comment: <br />The following citizens addressed the council: None. <br />Motion/second by CM De La Rosa/Mayor Pro Tempore Mitchell to close the public hearing. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />Motion/second by CM De La Rosa/Mayor Pro Tempore Mitchell to approve and adopt <br />Resolution No. R-94-08. Unanimous vote. <br />Appeal - File Index No. DAP -000-794 <br />This Was The Time And Place Fixed To Consider An Appeal Of The Planning Commission's <br />Approval Of A Modification Of File Index Number DAP 000-794, Pacific Rail Industries 785 East <br />"M" Street, Colton. <br />Mayor Chastain declared the public hearing open. <br />City Clerk Padilla announced that the Affidavit of Publication was on file in the City Clerk's office <br />and no protests or objections have been received. <br />Community Development Director Zamora presented the agenda report and requested <br />approval of staff's recommendation. <br />Public Comment: <br />The following citizens addressed the council: Rick Shield, spoke in support of the shredder. <br />Motion/second by CM Suchil/Mayor Pro Tempore Mitchell to close the public hearing. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />Motion/second by CM Suchil/Mayor Pro Tempore Mitchell to approve and adopt Resolution No. <br />R-95-08 upholding the Planning Commission decision. Unanimous vote. <br />CITY MANAGER ORAL REPORTS: <br />City Manager Parrish provided a brief update on: <br />• Positive expenditures on the agenda, improvements on Agua Mansa Road, Teen <br />Center, major sidewalk project <br />• Proposed Bill SB1335 Hearing in Sacramento, potential tax increment to <br />construct infrastructure in Agua Mansa area <br />• Senior Housing Project <br />Agenda Review: <br />(10) City Manager Contract — Approve the Restated Employment Agreement between the <br />City of Colton and the City Manager. <br />2008 AUG 19 REG CC/RDA/CUA MEETING - 5 - <br />
