CITY OF COLTON COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES JUNE 12, 2008 A Special Meeting of the City Council/Redevelopment Agency/Colton Utility Authority of the City of Colton was held at 5:30 p.m., on the above -given date in the Gonzales Community Center, located at 670 Colton Ave, Colton, CA, Colton, California Mayor Chastain presiding. Notice of Special Meeting was given on June 11, 2008, in compliance with Government Code Section 54956. ROLL CALL Councilmembers present were, Mitchell, Oliva, Toro, Yzaguirre, and Mayor Chastain. Also present were City Manager Parrish, City Attorney Martinez and Chief Deputy City Clerk Flores. Absent: Mayor Pro Tempore Suchil and CM De La Rosa. PUBLIC COMMENT: The following citizens addressed the council: None MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF JANUARY 10, 2008. Mayor Chastain asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed. MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: Said Special Meeting shall be for the purpose of studying and or taking action on the following matters: Budget Workshop: To discuss the Proposed Expenditure Plans for Fiscal Year 2008/2009. City Council Consideration and Approval of Resolution R-01-08 Certifying the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the City of Colton Portion of the San Bernardino Valley Enterprise Zone. Judy Clarke, RDA Senior Project Manager provided a PowerPoint presentation on the agenda report and requested approval of staffs recommendation to approve and adopt Resolution No. R-01-08. Motion/second by CM Mitchel l/Yzaguirre to approve and adopt Resolution No. R-01-08. Motion carried with Mayor Pro Tempore Suchil and CM De La Rosa absent. 2008 JUNE 12 SPC CC/RDA/CUA MEETING - 1 -
