CITY OF COLTON <br />COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY <br />SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES <br />JUNE 12, 2008 <br />A Special Meeting of the City Council/Redevelopment Agency/Colton Utility Authority of <br />the City of Colton was held at 5:30 p.m., on the above -given date in the Gonzales <br />Community Center, located at 670 Colton Ave, Colton, CA, Colton, California Mayor <br />Chastain presiding. Notice of Special Meeting was given on June 11, 2008, in <br />compliance with Government Code Section 54956. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were, Mitchell, Oliva, Toro, Yzaguirre, and Mayor Chastain. <br />Also present were City Manager Parrish, City Attorney Martinez and Chief Deputy City <br />Clerk Flores. <br />Absent: Mayor Pro Tempore Suchil and CM De La Rosa. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />The following citizens addressed the council: None <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING <br />OF JANUARY 10, 2008. <br />Mayor Chastain asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a <br />conflict of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />Said Special Meeting shall be for the purpose of studying and or taking action on the <br />following matters: <br />Budget Workshop: To discuss the Proposed Expenditure Plans for Fiscal Year 2008/2009. <br />City Council Consideration and Approval of Resolution R-01-08 Certifying the Draft <br />Environmental Impact Report for the City of Colton Portion of the San Bernardino Valley <br />Enterprise Zone. <br />Judy Clarke, RDA Senior Project Manager provided a PowerPoint presentation on the <br />agenda report and requested approval of staffs recommendation to approve and adopt <br />Resolution No. R-01-08. <br />Motion/second by CM Mitchel l/Yzaguirre to approve and adopt Resolution No. R-01-08. <br />Motion carried with Mayor Pro Tempore Suchil and CM De La Rosa absent. <br />2008 JUNE 12 SPC CC/RDA/CUA MEETING - 1 - <br />
