De La Rosa <br />David Toro <br />Absent: <br />CM Deirdre Bennett left due to family emergency. <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />Staff Present: <br />Daryl Parrish, City Manager <br />Dean Derleth, City Attorney <br />Eileen C. Gomez, City Clerk <br />• Presentation Police Chief Miller acknowledged James Irvine, Brian Childstrom and <br />David Rainville of Summit Career College and presented them with a <br />plaque of appreciation for their support and contribution to the CART <br />Program. Rich Randolph, Youth Officer, provided an overview of the <br />CART program. <br />• Presentation Roxanne Pena, Community Relations Specialist and Tiffany Williams of <br />Trinity Youth Services, provided a brief overview on their youth services, <br />and presented cards of appreciation from the children to the staff who <br />contributed to the 2008 Holiday Hero Gift Drive. <br />• Recognition Manuel Carrillo, representative from Senator Gloria McLeod presented a <br />Certificate of Recognition to the Mayor Chastain in honor of the Bike Path <br />Ribbon Cutting. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF <br />JANUARY 20, 2009. <br />Mayor Chastain asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict <br />of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030.
