CLOSED SESSION — REGULAR COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON <br />UTILITY AUTHORITY CLOSED SESSION MEETING MINUTES <br />MARCH 3, 2009 <br />Closed Session Meeting was held on the above given date at 5:05 p.m., in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall, with Mayor Chastain presiding. <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were, CM Perez (arrived at 5:10 p.m.), Bennett, Yzaguirre, Toro, <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Oliva and Mayor Chastain. <br />Absent: <br />CM De La Rosa <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />None. <br />City Attorney Derleth announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session to discuss <br />items A and B. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — EXISTING LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a) <br />Case Name: Jose Antonio Fierro Avalos et al v. City of Colton et al <br />Case Number: US District Court Case No. CV 06-00568 SGL (OPx) <br />B. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a) <br />Case Name: Kalama Development Inc. v. City of Colton et al. <br />Case Number: San Bernardino Superior Court Case No. CIVSS815026 <br />City Attorney Derleth adjourned the meeting to Closed Session at 5:07 p.m. and at 6:04 p.m.; the <br />meeting reconvened with all members present as heretofore. <br />City Attorney Derleth reported that the Council did meet and did confer in Closed Session on the <br />items previously announced with no reportable action on Items A and Item B. <br />A.
