CITY OF COLTON COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES JANUARY 14, 2009 A Special Meeting of the City Council/Redevelopment Agency/Colton Utility Authority of the City of Colton was held at 5:33 p.m., on the above -given date in the Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 650 North La Cadena Drive, Colton, California Mayor Chastain presiding. Notice of Special Meeting was given on January 13, 2009, in compliance with Government Code Section 54956. ROLL CALL Councilmembers present were, Perez, Bennett, Oliva, Yzaguirre, De La Rosa, Toro (arrived at 5:36 p.m.) and Mayor Chastain. Also present were City Manager Parrish, City Attorney Martinez and Chief Deputy City Clerk Flores. MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF JANUARY 14, 2009. Mayor Chastain asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed. PUBLIC COMMENT: The following citizens addressed the council: None CLOSED SESSION: A. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6 Agency Representative: Anthony Arroyo, Human Resources Director Employee Organizations: Colton Police Management Association, Colton Police Officers Association, Colton Police Dispatchers Association, Executive Unit, Colton Fire Fighters Association, SBPEA General Unit, SBPEA Mid -Managers Unit, IBEW Electric, IBEW Water/Wastewater City Attorney Martinez adjourned the meeting to Closed Session at 5:34 p.m. and at 6:24 p.m.; the meeting reconvened with all members present as heretofore. City Attorney Martinez reported that the Council did meet and did confer in Closed Session on the items previously announced with no reportable action on Item A. A.
