CITY OF COLTON COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES July 2, 2009 A Special Meeting of the City Council/Redevelopment Agency/Colton Utility Authority of the City of Colton was held at 5:43 a.m., on the above -given date in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, Oak Room, 400 North Pepper Avenue, Colton, CA 92324 with Mayor Chastain presiding. Notice of Special Meeting was given on July 1, 2009, in compliance with Government Code Section 54956. ROLL CALL Council Members present were, Perez, Bennett, Yzaguirre, De La Rosa, Toro, Mayor Pro Tempore Oliva and Mayor Chastain. Also present were Interim City Manager Miller, City Attorney Martinez and City Clerk Gomez. PUBLIC COMMENT: The following citizens addressed the council: Steve Cade and John Anaya. MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF JULY 2, 2009. Mayor Chastain asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed. MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: Said Special Meeting shall be for the purpose of studying and or taking action on the following matters: Special Counsel Trask distributed copies of "Code of Norm and Ethis Implementation & Enforcement "on behalf of Dr. Mathis along with copies of the PowerPoint presentation. Discussion continued by members present. RECESS: At 7:03 a.m., Dr. Mathis declared a recess for a break and at 7:08 a.m., the meeting was reconvened with all Members present there from. PUBLIC COMMENT: The following citizens addressed the council: Steve Cade and John Anaya. Mayor Chastain requested that after discussion corrections to the documents presented be made according to discussion and be brought back before the Mayor and Council at the next regular meeting in September.
