CITY OF COLTON <br />COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY <br />SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES <br />June 3, 2009 <br />A Special Meeting of the City Council/Redevelopment Agency/Colton Utility Authority of the <br />City of Colton was held at 5:17 p.m., on the above -given date in the Council Chambers, 650 N. <br />La Cadena Drive, Colton, CA 92324 with Mayor Pro Tempore Oliva presiding. Notice of <br />Special Meeting was given on June 1, 2009, in compliance with Government Code Section <br />54956. <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Oliva announced that with no opposition from the members present she <br />would change the order of the meeting with Closed Session to commence when the City <br />Attorney arrived. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were, Perez, Yzaguirre, Toro, and Mayor Pro Tempore Oliva. Also <br />present were Interim City Manager Miller, City Attorney Higginbotham and City Clerk Gomez. <br />Absent: CM Bennett, De La Rosa and Mayor Chastain. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />The following citizens addressed the council: None <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF <br />JUNE 3, 2009. <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Oliva asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a <br />conflict of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />Said Special Meeting shall be for the purpose of studying and or taking action on the following <br />matters: <br />Budget Workshop: To discuss the Proposed Expenditure Plans for Fiscal Year 2009/2010. <br />• Community Services Director Smith provided a PowerPoint presentation on the <br />department budget. <br />City Attorney Higginbotham announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session to <br />discuss items A. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />2009 JUN 03 SPC CC/RDA/CUA MEETING - 1 - <br />
