CITY OF COLTON <br />COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY <br />SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES <br />May 28, 2009 <br />A Special Meeting of the City Council/Redevelopment Agency/Colton Utility Authority of the <br />City of Colton was held at 5:33 p.m., on the above -given date in the Council Chambers, 650 N. <br />La Cadena Drive, Colton, CA 92324 with Mayor Chastain presiding. Notice of Special Meeting <br />was given on May 25, 2009, in compliance with. Government Code Section 54956. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were, Perez, Bennett, Yzaguirre, De La Rosa, Mayor Pro Tempore <br />Oliva and Mayor Chastain. Also present were Interim City Manager Miller, City Attorney <br />Derleth and City Clerk Gomez. <br />Absent: CM Toro. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />The following citizens addressed the council: None <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF <br />MAY 28, 2009. <br />Mayor Chastain asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict of <br />interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />Said Special Meeting shall be for the purpose of studying and or taking action on the following <br />matters: <br />I. Consideration and possible action regarding an amendment to Police Chief Miller's <br />Employment Agreement to provide for Interim City Manager services while a permanent <br />City Manager is recruited. <br />City Attorney Derleth presented a brief staff report and requested approval of Staff <br />recommendation. <br />Motion and second by CM Yzaguirre/Mayor Pro Tempore Oliva. Unanimous vote. <br />2. Budget Workshop: To discuss the Proposed Expenditure Plans for Fiscal Year <br />2009/2010. <br />2009 MAY 28 SPC CC/RDA/CUA MEETING - 1 - <br />
