Gomez, City Clerk <br />Aurelio De LaTorre, City Treasurer <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />Presentation Mayor Chastain introduced Police Officer Vega and Community Service Officer <br />Chavez who read and presented certificates of recognition to the Colton P.A.L. <br />Girls Softball Team as follows: Serinna Alvarado, Erin Campos, Emily Campos, <br />Michelle Chavez, Rae Chavez, Ilene Ducoing, Courtnee Laughlin, Miranda <br />Powles, Lauren Salazar, Marcilena Valenzuela. CHS Varsity Softball Coach Joe <br />Montes and Assistant Coach Jerry Chavez, were recognized and assisted with the <br />presentation. The team was recognized for taking the championship in the 16 and <br />under division at California PAL's l't Annual "Fall Ball" Girls Fast pitch Softball <br />Tournament on September I 1'h and 12 1h , 2010 in Vacaville, CA. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF <br />OCTOBER 5, 2010. <br />Mayor Chastain asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict of <br />interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None <br />District 6 - CM Perez presented for ratification, the appointment of Larry Sheffield to the <br />Historic Preservation Commission.
