Gomez, City Clerk <br />Aurelio De La Torre, City Treasurer <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />• Presentation CM Oliva read a Certificate of Recognition and presented to San Salvador <br />Catholic Church Fiesta Patrias Queen Myilinda Aldama and Princess <br />Lorena Vellanoweth. <br />Manuel Carrillo also recognized the young woman with certificates on <br />behalf of Senator Gloria Negrete-McCleod. <br />• Recognition Mayor Chastain introduced Laura Morales, who announced the Chamber <br />of Commerce Annual Community Awards for Police Officer of the Year - <br />Brad Carlson; Fire Fighter of the Year - Justin Weems; Business of the <br />Year - Summit Career College; Citizen of the Year - Bill Harring; <br />Outstanding Board Member of the Year - Michelle Kapuscinski; <br />Ambassador of the Year - Angie Cordova; and Volunteer of the Year — <br />John Miechowicz. <br />Manuel Carrillo also recognized the recipients of the Annual Community <br />Awards on behalf of Senator Gloria Negrete-McCleod. <br />2010 OCT 19 REG CC/RDA/CUA MEETING <br />
