The undersigned being first duly <br />sworn, deposes and says: That at all <br />times hereinafter mentioned he was a <br />citizen of the United States over the <br />age of eighteen years, and a resident <br />of said county and was at and during <br />all said times the principal clerk or <br />the printer and publisher of the Col- <br />ton Daily Courier, a newspaper of <br />general circulation, printed and pub- <br />lished six times per week in the City <br />VI k,olt Vll, 1. -10 l 0".. DCS- ---- <br />nardino, State of California; that said <br />Colton Daily Courier is and was at all <br />times herein mentioned a newspaper <br />of general circulation as that term is <br />-defined by section 4460 of the Politi- <br />cal Code, and, as provided by said sec- <br />tion, is published for the dissemina- <br />tion of local and telegraphic news and <br />intelligence of a general character, <br />having a bona fide subscription list of <br />paying subscribers; that at all times <br />said newspaper has been established, <br />printed and published in the said city <br />of Colton, in said county and state at <br />regular intervals for more than one <br />year preceding the first publication of <br />the advertisement herein mentioned; <br />that said advertisement was set in <br />type not smaller than nonpariel and <br />was preceded with words printed in <br />black faced type not smaller than non-, <br />pariel, describing and expressing in <br />Oneral terms, the purport and char- <br />acter of fie <br />given; that the <br />of which the annexed is a printed <br />copy, was published and printed in <br />said newspaper at least. - I ....times <br />commencing on the. ,5.2.� •\ ..day of <br />�r..., 1912, and ending <br />1912 <br />COLTON VAT <br />ORDINANCE NO. 292 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 292 <br />An ordinance naming that certain <br />street extending from the south <br />property line of "J" street extended, <br />to the north property line of "K" <br />street extended, and bounded on <br />the west by the west line of 8th <br />street extended and on the east by <br />the east boundary line of 8th street <br />extended. <br />The Board of Trustees of the City <br />of Colton 'do ordain as follows: <br />Section I. <br />That certain public street extend- <br />ing from the south property line of <br />"J" street extended, to the north prop- <br />erty line of "K" street extended, and <br />bounded on the west by the west line <br />of Sth street extended from the south- <br />west corner of the intersection of 8th <br />and "J" streets to the northwest cor- <br />ner of the intersection of 8th and "K" <br />streets, and bounded on the east by <br />the east line of 8th street extended <br />from the southeast corner of the iu <br />tersection of 8th and "J" streets w <br />the northeast corner of the intersec- <br />tion of 8th and "K" streets and being <br />the same property conveyed to the <br />City of Colton by the Southern Pa- <br />cific Co. and the Southern Pacific <br />Railroad Company and accepted by <br />the Board of Trustees of the City of <br />Colton on the 14th day of October, <br />1912, shall be named and declared to <br />be 8th street, and shall become an in- <br />tegral part of 8th street as designated <br />and shown on the official map of the <br />f C 1 <br />both days inclusive, viz <br />City o o ton. <br />P.
