The undersigned being first duly sworn, deposes and says: That at all timos hereinafter mentioned she was a citizen of the United States over the age of eighteen years, and a resident of said county and was at and during all said times the principal clerk or the printer and publisher of the Col- ton Daily Courier, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and pub- lished six times per week in the City of Colton, in said County of San Ber- nardino, State of California; that said Colton Daily Courier is and was at all times herein mentioned a newspaper of general circulation as that term is defined by section 4460 of the Politi- cal Code, and, as provided by said section, is published for the dissemi- nation of local and telegraphic news and intelligence of a general charac- ter, having a bona fide subscription list of paying subscribers; that at all times said newspaper has been estab- lished, printed and published in the said city of Colton, in said county and state at regular intervals for more than one year preceding the first pub- lication of the advertisement herein mentioned; that said advertisement was set in type not smaller than non- pariel and was preceded with words printed in black faced type not smaller thin-nonpariel, describing and ex- pressing in general terms, the pur- port and character of the notice in- tended to be given; that the of which the annexed is a printed copy, was published and printed in said newspaper Subscribed and sworn to before me this ...11 .��...... day of z 1913 Notary Public in and for San Bernar- dino County, California. i ORDINANCE NO. 306 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON PROHIBITING THE CARRYING OF DEAD- ILY WEAPONS IN THE CITY OF COLTON The Board of Trustees of the City of Colton do ordain as follows: Section I That it shall be unlawful for any person, not a peace officer to carry any revolver, pistol, knife with a blade more than three inches in length, metal knocks or other deadly weapon, in the City of Colton. , Provided however that this section shall not apply to the carrying of rifles or shot guns -for ordinary peace- ful purposes. Section II A violation of any provision of this ordinance shall constitute a misde- meanor, and any person convicted of such violation shall be fined in any sum not less than Thirty Dollars and not more than One Hundred Dollars V ido- or may be imprisoned in the county jail not less than thirty days and not more than one hundred days, or by both such fine and imprisonment, and shall in addition thereto forfeit all such weapons found upon his person. - _ P.
