Every person, firm or corporation violating any of <br />the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and <br />upon conviction shall be punishable by a fine of not more than three hundred <br />dollars ($300), or by imprisonment for a period of not more than three (3) months, <br />or by both such fine and imprisonment. In addition to the penalty herein above <br />set forth, the Police Department of the City of Colton may impound and retain <br />possession of any bicycle operated in violation of any of the provisions of this <br />ordinance, and retain possession of the same until the license provided for <br />herein is obtained by the owner of said bicycle or the same disposed of pursuant <br />to the provisions of law pertaining to disposition of impounded personal property. <br />Section 9. This ordinance shall be in force and effective <br />thirty (30) days after final passage . All ordinances, parts of ordinances, <br />resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby expressly <br />repealed. <br />Section 10. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of <br />this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Colton <br />Courier, a v,;e l newspaper, hereby designated for the purpose. <br />PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this 21st day of August, 197 <br />ATTEST: <br />y�Q.S8„ <br />HELEN A.
