<br />of the printer of the Colton Courier, a newspaper
<br />of general circulation, printed and published in
<br />the City of Colton, State of California, County of
<br />Son Bernardino, and which newspaper is published
<br />for the dissemination of local news and intelli-
<br />gence of a general character, and which newspaper
<br />at all the times herein mentioned had and still
<br />has a bona fide subscription list of paying sub-
<br />scribers, and which newspaper has been estab-
<br />lished, printed and published at regular intervals
<br />in the said City of Colton, State of California,
<br />County of San Bernardino, for a period exceeding
<br />one year next preceding the date of publication of
<br />the notice hereinafter referred to; and which news-
<br />paper is not devoted to nor published for the in-
<br />terests, entertulnment or instruction of a particular
<br />class, profession, trade, calling, race, or denomin-
<br />ation, or any number of some; that the notice, of
<br />which the annexed is a printed copy, has been
<br />published in each regular and entire issue of said
<br />newspaper and not in any supplement thereof on

<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE
<br />CITY OF COLTON, AMEN-
<br />DING ORDINANCE NO. 964, AS
<br />AMENDED BY ORDINANCE
<br />NO. 1422, PERTAINING TO
<br />THE USE OF MOBILE
<br />HOMES -MOBILE OFFICES.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED by the City
<br />Council of the City of Colton as
<br />follows:
<br />SECTION ONE: The City Council
<br />finds and declares:
<br />1. That a public hearing has been
<br />duly and legally held by the Plan-
<br />ning Commission of the City of
<br />Colton on a certain amendment to
<br />Ordinance No. 964, as amended,
<br />pertaining to the use of mobile
<br />homes mobile offices, on July 24,
<br />1973.
<br />2. That said Planning Commission
<br />has recommended that Article XIV,
<br />Section 1405A (3) be amended to
<br />read as follows:
<br />ARTICLE XIV
<br />USE OF MOBILE HOMES OR
<br />MOBILE OFFICES SECTION
<br />1405A
<br />Mobile Homes or Mobile Offices
<br />may be permitted upon written
<br />request to the City Council subject to
<br />the following conditions:
<br />1. Plot Plan shall be submitted
<br />indicating location of mobile home
<br />or office, parking, existing struc-
<br />tures and uses on property, land-
<br />scaping plan and descriptive
<br />material or photograph of mobile
<br />unit.
<br />2. Proposed use of trailer.
<br />3. Temporary use shall be per-
<br />mitted for not more than six (6)
<br />months, provided, at the end of said
<br />six (6) months period, if con-
<br />struction was commenced on a
<br />permanent structure, said mobile
<br />home or office may continue to be
<br />used until the permanent structure
<br />is completed, provided said ad-
<br />ditional time shall not exceed one (1)
<br />year.
<br />SECTION TWO: Effective Date.
<br />This ordinance shall be in force and
<br />effective thirty (30) days after final
<br />passage.
<br />SECTION THREE: The City
<br />Clerk shall certify to the passage of
<br />this ordinance and shall cause the
<br />same to be published once in the
<br />Colton Courier, a weekly newspaper,
<br />hereby designated for the purpose.
