That a public hearing has been duly and legally <br />held by the Planning Commission of the City of Colton on those <br />certain amendments to Ordinance No. 964, as amended, pertaining <br />to definitions, names of zones and the PC - Planned Community <br />Zone, on March 12, 1974, and; <br />2. That said Planning Commission has recommended <br />the adoption of the proposed amendments to Article II, Defini- <br />tions; Article III, Section 300, Names of Zones; and the addition <br />of Article XII -A, PC - Planned Community Zone as stated hereafter: <br />SECTION TWO: That Ordinance 964, as amended, <br />Article II, Definitions, is amended to include the following <br />sections: <br />Section 261: Alley: Any public thoroughfare which <br />affords only a secondary means of access to abutting property. <br />Section 262: Cluster Development: Combinations or <br />arrangements of attached dwelling units and their accessory <br />structures on the same, contiguous or related building sites <br />where the yards and open spaces are combined. <br />Section 263: Court: An open unoccupied space, other <br />than a. yard, on the same lot with a building or buildings, and <br />which is bounded on two or more sides by such building or buildin <br />
