The City of Colton having contracted with Book <br />Publishing Company for Codification of City Ordinances, has received and <br />carefully reviewed the Ordinance Analysis and Report from Book Publishing <br />Company. <br />SECTION 2. The Ordinance Analysis and Report recommended <br />specific ordinances be repealed for the following reasons: <br />a. City regulations are invalid because the state has preempted <br />the field of regulation on certain subjects. <br />b. Some City ordinances are now obsolete due to age (date of <br />adoption) and/or have been superseded by updated City ordinances. <br />SECTION 3. The following ordinances and/or sections thereof <br />are hereby specifically repealed: <br />Ordinance No. 234 - Codification of City of Colton Ordinances, <br />adopted October 1, 1907, Codes 15, 16, 17, 25, 30, 62, 64, 72, 80, 90, 91, <br />92, 96, 97, 98, and 129. <br />Ordinance No. 301 - Pool and Billiards, Section 5 only. <br />Ordinance No. 313 - Sidewalk and Curb Construction. <br />Ordinance No. 379 - Plumbing. <br />Ordinance No. 408 - Division of Land. <br />Ordinance No. 488 - Condemnation of Buildings. <br />Ordinance No. 548 - Intoxication, Sections VI and VII only. <br />Ordinance No. 600 - Trespass on Posted Property. <br />Ordinance No. 604 - Animals. <br />
