The provisions of the 1973 edition of the <br />"Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction", prepared <br />and promulgated by the Southern California Chapters of the Amer <br />Public Works Association and the Associated General Contractors ofi <br />California, are adopted and applicable to all public works con- <br />struction undertaken after the effective date of this ordinance. <br />SECTION II. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, <br />or corporation to erect, install, alter, repair, remove, convert, <br />demolish, or construct any public works improvements in the City <br />of Colton or cause the same to be done, contrary to or in viola- <br />tion of any of the provisions of these standard specifications. <br />Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions <br />of this code shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and each <br />such person shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each <br />and every day or portion thereof during which any violation of <br />any of the provisions of this code is committed, continued, or <br />permitted, and upon conviction of any such violation such person <br />shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $300.00 or by im- <br />prisonment of not more than 90 days, or by both such fine and <br />imprisonment. <br />SECTION III. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances <br />in conflict with the terms and provisions hereof and particularly <br />
