COLTON CUURIER of the said County, being duly sworn, deposes and says: THAT ..S__._he is and at all the times herein mentioned was a citizen of the United States over the age of twenty-one years, and that ........ he is not a party to, 9 o interested in the above entitled matter; that ........ he is the principal clerk of the printer of the Colton Courier, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Colton, State of California, County of San Bernardino, and which newspaper is published for the dissemination of local news and intelli- gence of a general character, and which newspaper at all the times herein mentioned had and still has a bono fide subscription list of paying sub- scribers, end which newspaper has been estab- lished, printed and published at regular intervals in the said City of Colton, State of California, County of San Bernardino, for a period exceeding one year next preceding the date of publication of the notice hereinafter referred to; and which news- paper is not devoted to nor published for the in- terests, entertainment or instruction of a particular class, profession, trade, calling, race, or denomin- ation, or any number of some; that the notice, of which the annexed is a printed copy, has been published in each regular and entire issue of said newspaper and not in any supplement thereof on the following dates, to -wit: August 29# 1974 .... ........................... Affidavit of Publication ORDINANCE NO. 1463 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF TAXES FOR MUNICIPAL USES TO BE LEVIED AND COLLECTED BY THE COUNTY OF SAN BER- NARDINO. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: That all assessments hereinafter made in the City Of Colton for taxes for municipal purposes shall be made by the County Assessor of the County Of San Bernardino, State of California. SECTION TWO: This ordinance is for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety and shall take effect immediately upon its lawful adoption. The facts constituting the urgency thereof are as follows: This ordinance is adopted Pur suant to the general laws of the State of California for levying municipal taxes to provide for the maintenance of the various governmental func tions which preserve the public health and safety in the City of Colton. SECTION THREE: That a cer tified copy of the ordinance shall be filed with the auditor of the County Of San Bernardino, State of California.
