173 weedy <br />ORDINANCE NO, 1463 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, PROVIDING FOR THE <br />LEVY AND COLLECTION OF <br />TAXES FOR MUNICIPAL USES TO <br />BE LEVIED AND COLLECTED BY <br />THE COUNTY OF SAN BER <br />- <br />NARDINO. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION ONE: That all <br />assessments hereinafter made in the <br />City of Colton for taxes for <br />municipal purposes shall be made <br />by the County Assessor of the County <br />Of San Bernardino, State of <br />California. <br />SECTION TWO: This ordinance is <br />for the immediate preservation of <br />the public peace, health and safety <br />and shall take effect immediately <br />upon its lawful adoption. <br />The facts constituting the urgency <br />thereof are as follows: <br />This ordinance is adopted pur- <br />suant to the general laws of the State <br />of California for levying municipal <br />taxes to provide for the maintenance <br />of the various governmental func- <br />tions which_ preserve_ the public <br />health and safety in the City of <br />Colton. <br />SECTION THREE: That a cer- <br />tified copy of the ordinance shall be <br />filed with the auditor of the County <br />Of San Bernardino, State of <br />California. <br />PASSED, ADOPTED and AP- <br />PROVED this 27th day of August, <br />1974. <br />(s) ALBERT A. RAMOS <br />City Clerk <br />Publish: Aug. 29, 1974 173 <br />175 weedy <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1464 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON FIXING THE AMOUNT <br />NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY <br />TAXATION TO CARRY ON THE <br />VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON FOR THE <br />CURRENT YEAR OF 1974-75. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION ONE: The amount <br />necessary to be raised by taxation <br />upon taxable property in the City of <br />Colton as a revenue to carry on the <br />various departments of the City of <br />Colton for the current year 197475 <br />and to pay the bonded indebtedness <br />of said City and the expense of <br />collection, is $654,859.00. <br />SECTION TWO: This ordinance is <br />for the immediate preservation of <br />the public peace, health and safety <br />and shall take effect immediately <br />upon its lawful adoption.
