THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. For the purpose of providing regulations relating to public health and safety, the issuance of permits and the collection of fees and providing penalties for the violation of such regulations, there is hereby adopted by the City of Colton that certain code known as the Health and Safety Code of the County of San Bernardino, State of California (1962) and the whole thereof as amended save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified or amended by Sections 2 and 4 hereof. Not less than three (3) copies of said code have been filed and are now on file in the office of the City Clerk of Colton and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein. SECTION 2. Definition of Terms: The following terms, words or phrases whenever used in said code shall be construed as follows, unless the content makes such construction repugnant thereto: A. Whenever the term "County or "County of San Bernardino" is named or referred to, the term "City" or "City of Colton" shall be submitted therefore except that all permits shall be obtained from the San Bernardino Department of Public Health and all fees and costs shall be paid to San Bernardino County Department of Public Health. SECTION 3. Exceptions to Adopted Code: The Health and Safety Code is amended and changed or deleted in the following respects: A. DIVISION 1 . ADMINISTRATION AND GENERAL REGULA- TIONS. Chapter 1.
