Each person, firm or corporation shall be deemed guilty <br />of a separate offense for each day during any portion of which, any <br />violation of any provisions of this ordinance or said Codes is <br />committed, continued or permitted by such person, firm or corpora- <br />tion and shall be punishable therefore, as provided by this <br />ordinance. <br />SECTION 7. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or <br />phrase of this ordinance of said Code is for any reason held to be <br />invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of compe- <br />tent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of <br />the remaining portions of said Ordinance or Code. The Mayor and <br />Conanon Council of the City of Colton hereby declare that they wou <br />have passed said Ordinance and Code, and each section, subsection, <br />sentence, clause and phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that <br />any one or more other sections, subsections, clauses or phrases be <br />declared invalid or unconstitutional. <br />SECTION 8. Ordinance No. 1417 is hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 9. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force <br />from and after its approval as required by law. <br />SECTION 10.
