Affidavit of Publication ORDINANCE NO. 1481 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON FIXING THE AMOUNT NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION TO CARRY ON THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF COLTON FOR THE CURRENT YEAR OF 197546. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: The amount necessary to be raised by taxation upon taxable property in the City of Colton as a revenue to carry on the various departments of the City of Colton for the current year 1975-76 and to pay the bonded indebtedness of said City and the expense of collection, is 5675,979.00. SECTION TWO: This ordinance relates to taxes for the usual and current expenses of the city. This ordinance is adopted pur- suant to the general laws of the State of California for levying municipal taxes to provide for the maintenance of the various governmental func- tions of the City of Colton including police protection, fire protection, health regulations and other func- tions which preserve the public health and safety in the City of Colton.
