Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1431 and Section 10.28.020 of the Colton Municipal Code is amended to read as follows: Lic se--Issuance--Effective Dates. The Finance Department is authorized and directed to issue upon written application, bicycle licenses which shall be effective in accordant* with current resolution of record. The licenses, when issued, shall entitle the licensee to operate such bicycle for which the license has been issued, upon all the streets, alleys and public highways, exclusive of the sidewalks thereof, in the City. Section 2, Section 3 of Ordinance No. 1431 and Section 10.2$.030 of I the Colton Municipal Code is amended to read as follows. AegistratiM Cards --License Plates, The City shall provide for each registration period, a license or supplementary device, together with regis- tration cards, the license and registration cards having numbers stamped thereon in numerical order beginning with number "1", and indicating the years for which the same are issued. Such license plates shall be suitable for attachment upon the frames of bicycles, and it shall be the duty of the finance department to attach one such license to the frame of each bicycle and to issue is corresponding registration card to the licensee upon the payment of the license fee herein provided for, and to make any other markings or stamping& necessary to carry out the purpose intended. Such license plate she remain attached during the existence of such license. The finance department shall also keep a record of the date of issue of each license, to whoa issued and the number thereof. PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED TRIS 4th day of November, 1975.
