All weeds and combustible material shall be cleared from the <br />location of the stand including a distance of at least 20 feet <br />surrounding the stand. <br />B. "No Smoking" signs shall be prominently displayed on the fire- <br />works stand. <br />C. Each stand must have an adult in attendance and in charge thereof <br />while fireworks are stored therein. Sleeping or remaining in <br />stand after close of business each day is forbidden. <br />D. The sale of fireworks shall not begin before 12:00 o'clock noon <br />on the 28th day of June and shall not continue after 12:00 o'clor7 <br />midnight on the 5th of July. <br />E. All unsold stock and accompanying litter shall be removed from <br />the location by 5:00 o'clock P.M. on the 6th day of July. <br />F. The fireworks stand shall be removed from the temporary location <br />by 12:00 o'clock noon on the 18th day of July, and all accompany- <br />ing litter shall be cleared from said location by said time and <br />date. <br />G. Prior to the issuance of a license, each applicant shall file <br />with the Department of Finance a cash deposit, certificate of <br />deposit or a surety bond made payable to said City in the amount <br />of $50.00 to assure compliance with the provisions of this ordi- <br />nance. Such deposit or certificate shall be refundable upon com- <br />pliance with the provisions and requirements of this ordinance, <br />including but not limited to the removal of the stand and the <br />cleaning of the site. In the event the licensee does not so com, <br />ply or remove the stand or clean the site, in the manner require( <br />by the Director of the Building and Safety Department, the City <br />may do so, or cause the same to be done by other persons, and <br />the reasonable cost thereof shall be a charge against the <br />licensee and his surety and the deposit, certificate or bond. <br />-4- <br />
