<br />in the said City of Colton, State of California,
<br />County of Son Bernardino, for a period exceeding
<br />one year next preceding the date of publication of
<br />the notice hereinafter referred to; and which news-
<br />paper is not devoted to nor published for the in-
<br />terests, entertumment or instruction of a particular
<br />class, profession, trade, calling, race, or denomin-
<br />ation, or any number of some; that the notice, of
<br />which the annexed is a printed copy, has been
<br />published in each regular and entire issue of said

<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE
<br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br />CITY OF COLTON ADOP-
<br />TING DIVISION 8 OF THE
<br />SAN BERNARDINO COUN-
<br />TY CODE WHICH ADDS
<br />PROVISIONS PERTAIN-
<br />ING TO UNDERGROUND
<br />STORAGE OF HA<AR-
<br />DOUS SUBSTANCES.
<br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF
<br />THE CITY OF COLTON
<br />HEREBY ORDAINS AS
<br />FOLLOWS:
<br />SECTION ONE: The herein
<br />designated Division 8 to itle 3
<br />of the San Bernardino County
<br />Code which adds provisions per-
<br />taining to Underground Storage
<br />of Hazardous Substances is
<br />hereby adopted by reference
<br />and made a part hereof. Three
<br />copies of said Code have been
<br />certif:ed as *,rue copies_ and file(,
<br />in the Office of the Ciiy Clerk of
<br />the City of Colton. Division 8 to
<br />Title 3 of the San Bernardino
<br />County Code so adopted by
<br />reference is made a part of this
<br />ordinance as though set forth at
<br />length herein.
<br />SECTION TWO; The Depart
<br />ment of Environmental Health
<br />Services of the County of San
<br />Bernardino, State of California,
<br />is hereby named as the im.
<br />plementing agency of this or-
<br />dinance.
<br />SECTION THREE: This or-
<br />dinance is declared to be an
<br />emergency measure for the
<br />preservation of the public
<br />health and safety in accordance
<br />with the provisions of the
<br />Government Code of the State
<br />of California and shall take ef-
<br />fect immediately upon its adop-
<br />tion.
<br />SECTION FOUR: The City
<br />Clerk shall certify to the adop-
<br />tion of this ordinance and cause
<br />it to be published once in the
<br />Colton Courier, a newspaper of
<br />general circulation, printed and
<br />published in this city.
<br />PASSED, APPROVED and
<br />ADOPTED this 20th day of
<br />December, 1983.
