Where two driveways are provided, each shall be clearly <br />marked as to the direction of ingress and egress. In <br />addition, compact car spaces provided on a lot shall be <br />clearly marked as compact. <br />7. Parking facilities may be designed to encroach on the front <br />setback area a maximum of seventeen feet in a C-1 zone <br />and twelve feet in all other zones. <br />8. Parking requirements for uses permitted with a conditional <br />use permit are listed in the sections for the zones in which <br />they are permitted by right." <br />SECTION 3. Section 18.22.120 of Chapter 18.22 of Title 18 of the Colton <br />Municipal Code is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br />1118.22.120 Parking requirements. <br />A. Specific Requirements. <br />1. For office uses and retail stores, one space shall be <br />provided for every two hundred fifty square feet of gross <br />floor area. For retail stores handling only durable or bulky <br />merchandise, one space shall be provided for every six <br />hundred square feet. <br />2. For automobile sales and rentals and repair shops, one <br />space shall be provided for every six hundred square feet of <br />gross floor area. <br />3. For child care services, one space shall be provided for each <br />staff member, plus one space for each twenty children. A <br />circular driveway at least twenty feet in width shall be <br />provided for the safe off-street loading and unloading of <br />children. <br />4. For eating and drinking establishments, including fast food <br />and drive-through establishments, one space shall be <br />provided for every one hundred square feet of gross floor <br />area, with a minimum of five spaces provided for each <br />establishment. <br />5. For medical offices, one space shall be provided for every <br />two hundred square feet of gross floor area. <br />6. For bowling alleys, three spaces shall be provided for each <br />alley, plus fifty percent of regular parking requirements for <br />all other uses associated with the alley. <br />7. For hotels and motels, one space per room shall be <br />provided. <br />8. For places of assembly, one space shall be provided for <br />each five seats in the principal assembly room, counting <br />twenty inches of seating space on a bench as one seat. In <br />cases where temporary or movable seats are provided, one <br />space shall be provided for every forty square feet of area <br />within the assembly room. <br />9. For hospitals, one space per bed shall be provided. <br />10. For manufacturing and industrial buildings, one space shall <br />be provided for every five hundred square feet of gross <br />floor area. <br />11.
