1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-07-08 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-01-01, SECTION 15.18.070, CHAPTER 15.18, <br />TITLE 15 OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING <br />FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT REGULATIONS <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 15.18.070: Chapter 15.18 of the Colton Municipal Code is hereby deleted in <br />its entirety and restated as follows: <br />15.18.70 BASIS FOR ESTABLISHING THE AREAS OF SPECIAL FLOOD HAZZARD. <br />The areas of special flood hazard identified by the Federal Insurance Administration (FIA) of the Federal <br />Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in the Flood Insurance Study (FIS) dated September 17, 1980 <br />and accompanying Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMS) and Flood Boundary and Floodway Maps <br />(FBFMs), dated February 2, 1994, and all subsequent amendments and/or revisions, are hereby adopted by <br />reference and declared to be a part of this chapter. This FIS and attendant mapping is the minimum area of <br />applicability of this chapter and may be supplemented by studies for other areas which allow <br />implementation of this chapter and which are recommended to the city council by the Floodplain <br />Administrator. The study, FIRMs and FBFMs are on file at 650 N. La Cadena Dr., City Clerk's office and <br />the Department of Public Works. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of July 2008. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA R.
