R-124-07 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING <br />RESOLUTION R-08-06, APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR <br />MEMBERS OF THE COLTON FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION AND THE CITY OF <br />COLTON <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has given full consideration to the result of meetings between <br />representatives of the City of Colton and representatives of the Colton Firefighters Association held <br />pursuant to Government Code Section 3500 et. Seq.; and <br />WHEREAS, the Colton Firefighters Association has reviewed and signed approval of the <br />attached Consolidated Memorandum of Understanding (MOU); <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the MOU, marked Exhibit "A" and attached <br />hereto, is incorporated into and made a part hereof and adopted hereby; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the provisions provided herein shall be effective as of <br />July 1, 2007, contingent upon signature of the City's representative; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes staff to sign said MOU. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of September, 2007. <br />KELLY J.
