R-138-07 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA TO AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2007/2008 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) TO INCLUDE THE TRAFFIC SIGNALIZATION AT MT. VERNON AND PALM PROJECT AND INCREASE THE FISCAL YEAR 2007/2008 CIP BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,000. WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"); WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for fiscal year commencing July 1, 2007 and ending June 30, 2008 was approved on June 19, 2007; WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and WHEREAS, the reallocation of the appropriations between departmental activities may be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council; WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is dedicated to improving City infrastructure and the aesthetics of the City; and WHEREAS, the funding has been identified for the allocation of this project. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DO HEREBY RESOLVE that the FY 2007/2008 Capital Improvement Program budget be amended to 1) Include the 2007/2008 Traffic Signalization at Mt. Vernon and Palm Project 2) Increase the FY 2007/2008 CIP budget in the amount of $10,000 a.
