R-150-07 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON, ADOPTING A REVISED CITY COUNCIL <br />MANUAL OF PROCEDURE AND RESCINDING ALL <br />PRIOR RESOLUTIONS RELATED THERETO <br />WHEREAS, the City Council conducts its meetings in accordance with its <br />Manual of Procedure ("MOP") and applicable state law, including, but not limited to, the <br />Ralph M. Brown Act (Government Code Section 54950 et seq.); <br />WHEREAS, the City Council last adopted the MOP in its entirety on <br />December 16, 1986, pursuant to Resolution No. R-185-86; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted minor amendments to the MOP <br />since 1986, pursuant to duly adopted resolutions, such as R-98-96 and R-29-95; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the MOP should be <br />updated and re -adopted in its entirety; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. The MOP dated November 20, 20007 is hereby adopted. <br />SECTION 2. All prior resolutions and actions adopted or taken with <br />respect to the MOP, including, but not limited to, Resolutions R-185-86, R-98-96 and R- <br />29-95 are hereby rescinded. <br />SECTION 3.
