R-159-07 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, APPROVING <br />THE SUBMITTAL OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROJECT <br />APPLICATIONS TO THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO FOR ELGIBILITY AND <br />QUALIFICATION REVIEW FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2008/2009. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton elected to enter into a Cooperation <br />Agreement with the County of San Bernardino in order to receive Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG) funds; and <br />WHEREAS, as a Cooperating City, the City of Colton will receive an unspecified <br />allocation of Community Development Block Grant funds for Fiscal Year 2008/2009; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City has been informed by the San Bernardino County <br />Department of Community Development and Housing that they are accepting CDBG <br />Project Proposal Applications for Eligibility and Qualification Review for the Fiscal <br />Year 2008/2009; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City has received Project Proposal Applications and has conducted a <br />community meeting to provide for and encourage citizen participation in developing project <br />proposals. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton submits the CDBG Project <br />Proposal Applications listed in Exhibit 'A' to the County of San Bernardino Department of <br />Community Development and Housing to determine eligibility and qualification for the use <br />of CDBG funds for Fiscal Year 2008/2009. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 4th DAY OF DECEMBER 2007. <br />" 9 6441--� <br />kELLY.�VCIVASTAIN <br />Mayor <br />AT ST: <br />CAROLINA R.
