2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />2i <br />2E <br />25 <br />Y <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton, as the Lead Agency, possesses the legal authority to submit <br />the project for inclusion in the Regional Transportation Improvement Program and to finance, acquire, <br />and construct the project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Colton <br />hereby; <br />Affirm its continuing commitment to the projects submitted for inclusion in the 2008 Regional <br />Transportation Improvement Program; and <br />Commit that the City of Colton, as Lead Agency for the projects, will carry out the projects <br />consistent with the project implementation schedule; and <br />Certify that the City of Colton will enter into a contract with SANBAG committing that it will <br />carry out the projects identified as transportation control measures (TCM) in the South Coast Air <br />Basin consistent with the project implementation schedule; and <br />Certify that the City of Colton will allocate the necessary local match funds contained within <br />the project to carry out any federally approved project; and <br />Certify that the City of Colton, as the Lead Agency, will comply with applicable provisions of <br />the California Environmental Quality Act, the National Environmental Policy Act, the Americans with <br />Disabilities Act, the Secretary of the Interior's Standards and Guidelines for Archaeology and Historic <br />Preservation, and any other Federal, State, and/or local laws, rules and regulations. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 15th DAY OF JANUARY 2008. <br />- 41i� 9 <br />KELLY JVCfkSTAIN, <br />ATTEST: Mayor <br />ati�G�v <br />CAROLINA R.
