R-07-08 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON ACCEPTING THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS GRANT AND AMENDING THE <br />BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 2007 AND <br />ENDING JUNE 30, 2008. <br />WHEREAS, the State of California has approved funding for the Instructional <br />Materials Grant in the amount of $2,411 for the Colton Childcare Program, and; <br />WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br />2007 and ending June 30, 2008 has been approved and adopted, and; <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may be <br />made by the City Manager, amendments (increases/decreases) to the budget shall be by <br />approval and resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton, San Bernardino County, <br />California authorizes the acceptance of the Instructional Materials Grant, and entering into <br />local agreement number CIMS -7473. The City Manager is hereby authorized to sign the <br />applicable documents on behalf of the City to execute this agreement. <br />SECTION 2: As a result of this agreement, it is necessary to make an <br />adjustment to the fiscal year 2007-08 budget. The allocations in Expenditure Account 206- <br />7200-7205-2311 and in Revenue Account 206-5889 shall both be increased by the grant <br />amount of $2,411. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5 day of February, 2008. <br />" g V/-"� <br />KELLY J.
