City of Colton <br />MEASURE "I" EXPENDITURE STATEGY <br />PLAN 2008/2010 <br />A NARRATIVE <br />The City of Colton allocates approximately sixty percent of its annual <br />Measure I revenue for improvements to existing street infrastructure. <br />These improvements are generally provided to streets exhibiting signs of <br />stress which can be remedied by providing a slurry seal application to the <br />stressed pavement. The remaining forty percent of the annual Measure I <br />appropriations received by the City of Colton are directed to street <br />reconstruction and development; these projects are compliant to the goals <br />of the city's General Plan Circulation Element. <br />
