R-113-08 <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON RESOLUTION TO GRANT ANOTHER <br />DESIGNATED PERIOD FOR TWO YEARS ADDITIONAL SERVICE CREDIT FOR AN <br />ELIGIBLE LOCAL SAFETY MEMBER <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is a contracting Public Agency of the <br />Public Employee's Retirement System; and <br />WHEREAS, said Public Agency desires to provide another designated period for Two <br />Years of Additional Service Credit, Government Code Section 20903 and 7507, based on <br />contract amendment included in said contract that provided for Section 20903, Two Years <br />Additional Service Credit, for an eligible Local Safety Member; and, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said City Council does seek to add <br />another designated period and does hereby authorize this Resolution, indicating a desire to <br />add a designated period from October 22, 2008 to January 21, 2009 for an eligible local Safety <br />Member in the following position: <br />Police Lieutenant — Police Department <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 21st day of October 2008. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA R.
