1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18' <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />RESOLUTION NO R-116-08 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON SETTING PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING <br />PROPOSED UPDATE TO FEE SCHEDULE FOR PROGRAMS <br />& SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE COMMUNITY SERVICES <br />DEPARTMENT <br />WHEREAS, under the police power granted by Article XI, Section 7 of the California <br />Constitution, cities may impose fees, charges and rates for certain municipal services, and; <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton does currently charge fees for certain programs and <br />services offered by the Community Services Department, and; <br />WHEREAS, these fees must be analyzed and adjusted periodically to ensure that they are <br />reasonable, justified, and provide for adequate cost recovery by the city, and; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton wishes to consider updates to these <br />current fees for programs & services offered by the Community Services Department. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The City Council does hereby intend to consider updates to fees for <br />programs & services offered by the Community Services Department <br />2. Such updates shall be considered, and public comment heard on proposed <br />action, by the City Council at 6:00 p.m. on November 18, 2008 in the City Council Chambers. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21 st day of October, 2008. <br />11 ATTEST: <br />JMqVWJ - r <br />CAROLINA R.
