R-126-08 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA TO INCREASE THE FISCAL YEAR 2008/2009 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,188,865 FOR THE VETERANS PARK SPORTS COMPLEX PROJECT. WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"); and WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for fiscal year commencing July 1, 2008 and ending June 30, 2009 was approved on June 17, 2008; and WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and WHEREAS, the reallocation of the appropriations between departmental activities may be made by the City Manager, amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council; WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is dedicated to improving City infrastructure and the aesthetics of the City; and WHEREAS, the funding has been identified for the allocation of the Veterans Park Sports Complex Project. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DO HEREBY RESOLVE that the FY 2008/2009 Capital Improvement Program budget be amended to 1) Increase the FY 2008/2009 CIP budget in the amount of $1,338,865 for the 2008/2009 Veterans Park Sports Complex Project: a. Increase 350-1000-1000-5993-004-457 by $1,188,865 b. Increase 457-5993-350 by $1,188,865 c. Increase 457-0629-6930-3890 $1,188,865 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 18th DAY OF NOVEMBER 2008.
