R-138-08 <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF COLTON FOR THE <br />FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 2008, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2009. <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing <br />July 1, 2008 and ending June 30, 2009, was approved and adopted on June 17, 2008, and <br />WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of <br />the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, The Reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may <br />be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be by <br />approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. It has been necessary to make an amendment to the 2008/2009 <br />Fiscal Year Budget, appropriating funds to account number 261-6070-6083-4900 from the <br />police department's Federal Asset Forfeiture Account for the purchase of a public safety <br />software system. The expenditure from account 261-6070-6083-4900 will be in an amount <br />not to exceed $673,905.00 and will decrease the unappropriated account balance in the <br />Federal Asset Forfeiture Account. <br />SECTION 2. The amendment is hereby approved, adopted, and incorporated herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 16th day of December, 2008. <br />ATTEST: <br />EILEEN C.
