R-16-08 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />COMMENCING JULY 1, 2007 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2008. <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commending July 1, <br />2007 and ending June 30, 2008 was approved and adopted, and; <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of <br />the City and all applicable statutes of the State, and; <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may be <br />made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be by <br />approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton, San Bernardino County, <br />California authorizes, entering into the State of California Agreement CLTK-7071 providing <br />for a cost of living increase to the State's Department of Education Latchkey Grant in the <br />amount of $22,441. <br />SECTION 2: As a result of this agreement, it is necessary to make an adjustment to <br />the fiscal year 2007-08 budget. The allocation in the Childcare Fund, revenue account 206- <br />5768 shall be increased by the agreement amount of $22,441. Additionally, the allocations for <br />expenditure accounts 206-7200-7202-1010, and 206-7200-7202-1040, shall be increased by <br />$15,000 and $7,441, respectively. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of February, 2008. <br />KELLY J.
