R-32-08 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF ONE <br />APPLICATION FOR THE MOBILE SOURCE AIR POLLUTION <br />REDUCTION REVIEW COMMITTEE CLEAN TRANSPORTATION <br />FUNDING LOCAL GOVERNMENT MATCH PROGRAM FY <br />2007/2008 GRANT. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton desires to share in regional goals of cleaner air and <br />recognizes the value that clean air has in benefiting the health of Colton's citizens, and <br />improving the quality of life in the City of Colton; <br />WHEREAS, the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee has been <br />delegated the responsibility for the administration of the program, setting up necessary <br />procedures governing program application; and <br />WHEREAS, if awarded a grant, the applicant will enter into an agreement with the <br />Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee; for development of the project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DO <br />HEREBY RESOLVE that the City of Colton authorizes the submittal of an application to <br />Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee Clean Transportation Funding <br />Local Government Match Program FY 2007/2008 Grant. The City Manager of the City of <br />Colton is hereby authorized and empowered to execute in the name of the City of Colton all <br />necessary documents, including but no limited to, application, agreements, amendments, and <br />payment request necessary to secure grant funds and to implement and carry out the purposes <br />specified in the grant application. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 18th DAY OF MARCH 2008. <br />AT T: <br />CAROLINA R.
