R-35-08 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON TO ACCEPT A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,005.00 <br />FROM SAN BERNARDINO COUNTYWIDE GANGS AND DRUGS <br />TASK FORCE AND AMEND THE 2007/2008 FISCAL YEAR <br />BUDGET AMENDING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF COLTON <br />FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 2007, AND <br />ENDING JUNE 30, 2008. <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />2007 and ending June 30, 2008, was approved and adopted on June 19, 2007; and <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may be <br />made by the City Manager, amendments (increases/decreases) to the budget shall be by approval <br />and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. It is necessary to approve and accept this Grant of $1,005.00 from San <br />Bernardino Countywide Gangs and Drugs Task Force to the Colton Police Department's Colton <br />At Risk Teens Academy. <br />SECTION 2. It is necessary to make an amendment to the 2007/2008 Fiscal Year <br />Budget, increasing the Revenue Account Number 225-5890-001 and appropriating funds to <br />Expenditure Account Number 225-6070-6071-2301 in the amount of $1,005.00. <br />SECTION 3.
