R-64-08 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF ONE APPLICATION FOR THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF WATER RESOURCES LOCAL LEVEE ASSISTANCE <br />GRANT PROGRAM. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Water Resources Local Levee Assistance Grant <br />Program provides funds for programs to repair and evaluate local levees and flood <br />control facilities; <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Water Resources solicits proposals for the <br />Local Levee Assistance Program from local agencies on an annual basis; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is dedicated to improving <br />the safety of local streets and storm drain infrastructure for the residents of this City by <br />preventing flooding; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON DO HEREBY RESOLVE the City Manager is authorized to submit and <br />sign all related documents for the submittal of one Department of Water Resources <br />Local Levee Assistance Grant Program Application, for the 3-5 Comprehensive Storm <br />Drain Project. <br />PASSED, APPROVED A <br />ATTEST: <br />Mayor Pro Tempore <br />)08. <br />�)W,'OS- U4 k�y� <br />CAROLINA R.
